Great Kickoff to the Tours!
Well, we did go – five participants, Gwen Steele and myself (Maggie). The weather held for us and we even got some sunshine along the way. Thanks to the folks who participated. I’m excited for tomorrow and Sunday!
To go or not?
I’ve just sent an e-mail to participants and guides to get feedback. If you have signed up and want to go this afternoon, we can. There are also two more days for guided tours. So let me know, either through email or through this page whether you want to do the tour or save it for a drier day.
Weather
Well, it is raining on the first day of the guided tours but there may be sun yet! I will post an update by 1:00 pm once whether the tour will continue or not. Fingers crossed for sunshine!
Kids Tour!
A special edition of audio files for the under 12 set have been created and are available for download on the Tour Sign up and Information Page. They engage the kids in a fun and educational explanation of many of the concepts talked about on the tour. Each of the kids files is approximately the same length or longer than the adult files so that you have time to listen too. P.S. Don’t be surprised if they start dancing, singing or waving their arms!
New Tours
Turf the Turf will take part in Culture Days! We have scheduled tours each day, September 27, 28 and 29. More guided tours will be scheduled – watch this site for news. And there is always the self-guided tour.

Due to a family emergency, the tours will not be conducted at this time, as previously advertised. Please come back to this site to keep updated with the new schedule.
Map and Audio Coming Soon!
The launch date is coming fast and I will be publishing the map and audio files very soon. Just making last minute updates. It’s been so much fun talking with all of the home owners. This week we are going to be advertising the project so if you have suggestions of someplace to promote the tour, let me know. See you all soon!
